Sometimes it's around a dinner table on a cruise ship. Sometimes it's during a family vacation you'll never forget. And sometimes it's through an unexpected friendship that begins at sea.
That's exactly how Harbors & Highways Travel has grown.
Our mission is simple: to help you spend less time stressing over the details and more time making memories with the people you love.
Meet Tristin
From cruise friends to travel partners
Hi, I'm Kendra.
I started Harbors & Highways Travel because I believe vacations are about so much more than checking destinations off a list. They're about celebrating milestones, reconnecting with family, and creating memories you'll talk about for years.
Travel has been part of my life for more than 30 years. From booking flights, hotels, and rental cars for American Express cardholders to opening my first travel agency in 2014, planning vacations at AAA, and helping travelers at Alaska Airlines, every step has taught me how to create smooth, memorable travel experiences. Today, I bring all of that experience together to help couples, families, and empty nesters plan vacations they'll remember long after they return home.
When I'm not planning vacations, you'll usually find me dreaming about my next cruise, quilting or cross stitching while cheering on my beloved Arizona Diamondbacks, or heading out on a road trip with my husband, Chip.
Now that we've entered our empty nest season, we've discovered some of our favorite adventures begin with a fully charged Tesla, an audiobook queued up, and a destination somewhere in the West.
Those quiet miles together have become some of our favorite memories and a big part of the inspiration behind Harbors & Highways Travel.

Travel Philosophy
Some of the best memories aren't made when you arrive. They're made somewhere between the harbor and the highway.
Tristin and I first met aboard Royal Caribbean's Allure of the Seas in 2014.
Like so many cruise friendships, we stayed connected on Facebook over the years. In 2025, she became one of my travel clients. A few months later, while I was visiting my son in Missouri, we finally met up in nearby Branson.
Ironically, after spending the evening talking travel and catching up over dinner, I realized I'd forgotten to take a picture together. The only photo I came home with was of Tristin and her husband driving away.
Some friendships are just like that—you get so busy enjoying the moment that you forget to document it.
We've texted almost every day since.
Today, Tristin is part of the Harbors & Highways family, bringing her own passion and expertise to the clients she serves.
She specializes in Disney vacations—especially helping adults discover the magic of Disney without kids—as well as Carnival, Norwegian Cruise Line, and Royal Caribbean cruises.
She loves helping travelers find the vacation that's the perfect fit for their style and budget.
She lives in Arkansas with her husband and their two dogs, is a die-hard Razorback fan, and—like Kendra—never passes up the chance to hunt down a Buc-ee's.
One of our favorite running jokes is planning a stop, only to discover it's just a "Baby Buc-ee's"... basically a regular gas station with big dreams.
